ปีเตอร์ เวสเตอร์การ์ด
ปีเตอร์ เวสเตอร์การ์ด (อังกฤษ: Peter Westergaard) เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 26 พฤษภาคม 2474 ณ เมืองแชมเปญ รัฐอิลลินอย เขาได้เข้าศึกษาใน มหาวิทยาลัยฮาร์วาร์ด และจบการศึกษาในปี 2496 มีเพื่อนร่วมรุ่นได้แก่ โรเจอร์ เซสชั่นส์ วอลเตอร์ พิสตัน เอ็ดเวิร์ด ที. โคน มิลตัน แบบบิตต์ โวล์ฟกัง ฟอร์นเนอร์ และตัดสินใจเป็นอาจารย์สอนที่ มหาวิทยาลัยโคลัมเบีย ก่อนจะเกษียณในปี 2544 แต่ยังทำงานในฐานะผู้ประพันธ์เพลงและร่วมแสดงในวงโอเปร่า
