'''คาบสมุทรไครเมีย''' เป็นผืนดินขนาดใหญ่ทางชายฝั่งด้านเหนือของ[[ทะเลดำ]]ซึ่งแทบถูกน้ำล้อมรอบแทบทุกด้าน คาบสมุทรไครเมียตั้งอยู่ทางใต้ของแผ่นดินใหญ่[[ยูเครน]] และทางตะวันตกของเขตคูบันของ[[รัสเซีย]] คาบสมุทรนี้ถูกสองทะเลล้อมรอบ คือ ทะเลดำและ[[ทะเลอะซอฟ]]ที่เล็กกว่าทางตะวันออก ติดต่อกับแผ่นดินใหญ่ยูเครนโดยคอคอดเปเรกอฟ (Isthmus of Perekop) และแยกจากยูบันด้วยช่องแคบเคิร์ช (Strait of Kerch) สันดอนจะงอยอะราบัด (Arabat Spit) ตั้งอยู่ทางตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ซึ่งเป็นแผ่นดินเล็ก ๆ ที่แยกระบบลากูนชื่อ ซิวัช (Sivash) จากทะเลอะซอฟ
