Ortegia เป็นสกุลของพืชดอกที่อยู่ในวงศ์ Caryophyllaceae.[2] มีเพียงสปีชีส์เดียวคือ Ortegia hispanica L.[1] มันเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเผ่า Polycarpaeae, รวมกลุ่มกับ Cardionema และ Illecebrum.[3]

ถิ่นกำเนิดของมันคือ ทะเลเมดิเตอร์เรเนียนตะวันตก ยังคงพบในโปรตุเกสและสเปน[1][4] ตอนนี้จัดอยู่ในประเภท สูญพันธุ์ ในแอลจีเรียและอิตาลี.[1]
