ประตูผี (ปรัมปราวิทยาจีน)
ประตูผี[1] (จีนตัวย่อ: 鬼门关; จีนตัวเต็ม: 鬼門關; พินอิน: Guǐmén guān), ประตูปีศาจ[2][3] ประตูนรก หรือ กุ่ยเหมินกวน[4] เป็นทางผ่านในยมโลกตามปรัมปราวิทยาจีน[5]
ประตูมีลักษณะเป็นไผฟาง[6] และมีป้ายติดว่า "ประตูผี" ในแนวนอน[7] ตามตำนานเชื่อว่าระหว่างทางสู่ดินแดนผู้ตาย ดวงวิญญาณจะต้องผ่านประตูนี้[8]
ประตูผีมีความสำคัญมากในเทศกาลสารท ซึ่งตรงกับเดือนเจ็ดในปฏิทินจันทรคติจีน[9] ปรัมปราวิทยาจีนเชื่อว่าทุก ๆ ปี ในวันที่หนึ่งขอเดือนเจ็ด ยมบาลจะเปิดประตูผีทั้งหมดเพื่อให้ผู้ที่ถูกทรมานและกักขังในนรกได้หลบหนีออกมา[10] และสามารถออกมาเยี่ยมชมดินแดนคนเป็นได้เป็นเวลาสั้น ๆ ก่อนที่ประตูจะปิดในตอนสิ้นเดือน ตามธรรมเนียมจึงเชื่อง่าไม่ควรแต่งงานหรือขึ้นบ้านใหม่ในเดือนนี้[9]
