โจนาธาน เบลีย์

โจนาธาน สจวร์ต เบลีย์ (อังกฤษ: Jonathan Stuart Bailey; 25 เมษายน ค.ศ.1988[2]) เป็นนักแสดงชาวอังกฤษ ในปี 2019 เบลีย์ได้รับรางวัล Laurence Olivier Award ในสาขา Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical ในบทบาท Jamie ในละครเวทีเรื่อง Company[3] ในส่วนของผลงานละครโทรทัศน์นั้นเบลีย์ได้มีโอกาสแสดงเรื่อง Broadchurch ทางช่อง ITV, Leonardo ทางช่อง CBBC, W1A ทางช่อง BBC Two, Campus ทางช่อง Channel 4 และ Bridgerton ทางเน็ตฟลิกซ์

ชีวิตในช่วงต้น แก้

เบลีย์เป็นลูกคนสุดท้องในบรรดาพี่น้องทั้ง 4 คนโดยเบลีย์เกิดและเติบโตที่เมืองเบนสัน มณฑลออกซฟอร์ดเชอร์[1][4]

เบลีย์ได้ตัดสินใจจะเป็นนักแสดงเมื่อตอนอายุ 5 ปีหลังจากที่เขาได้มีโอกาสเข้าชมละครเวทีเรื่อง Oliver![2] ในเวลาต่อมาเขาได้เริ่มเข้าสู่ชมรมนักเต้นในเมือง Henley-on-Thames และเริ่มเข้ารับการคัดเลือกในละครเวทีเรื่อง A Christmas Carol ซึ่งผลิตโดย Royal Shakespeare Company ซึ่งจัดขึ้นที่ Barbican Theatre ณ กรุงลอนดอนเมื่อเขาอายุ 7 ปี[5][6]

เขาได้จบการศึกษาในระดับประถมจากโรงเรียน Benson C of E Primary School ก่อนที่จะจบการศึกษาในระดับมัธยม Magdalen College School ใน เมืองออกซ์ฟอร์ด ซึ่งเขาได้ตัดสินใจจะไม่เข้าโรงเรียนการแสดงแต่เลือกที่จะเรียนต่อในระดับปริญญาตรีและจบการศึกษาในระดับอุดมศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัย Open University[7][4]

ในปี 2011 เบลีย์ได้รับเลือกให้เล่นบท Leonardo da Vinci ในซีรีส์เรื่อง Leonardo ทางช่อง BBC และได้มีโอกาสเล่นซีรีส์แนวตลกเรื่อง Me and Mrs. Jones ทางช่อง BBC ในปี 2012[8]

ในปี 2014 เขาได้ปรากฏตัวในเรื่อง Doctor Who ซีซันที่ 8 ในตอน "Time Heist"[9] นอกจากนี้เขายังได้รับบทเป็น Olly Stevens ในเรื่อง Broadchurch ทางช่อง ITV[10] ทั้งนี้เขายังรับบทเป็น Jack Patterson ในซีรีส์แนวตลกเรื่อง W1A ทางช่อง BBC Two ซึ่งเขาได้แสดงไปทั้งหมด 3 ซีซัน เบลีย์ยังได้มีโอกาสรับบทหลักในซีรีส์เรื่อง Crashing และบทรับเชิญในเรื่อง Chewing Gum

ในปี 2019 เขาได้รับเลือกให้เล่นในซีรีส์เน็ตฟลิกซ์เรื่อง Bridgerton ในบทบาท the Viscount Anthony Bridgerton ซึ่งมีทั้งหมด 2 ซีซัน[11][12]

ละครเวที แก้

เบลีย์ได้มีโอกาสถูกเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงในรางวัล Evening Standard Theatre Awards ประจำปี 2012 ในสาขา Outstanding Newcomer จากผลงานการแสดงในเรื่อง South Downs[13] เขาได้มีโอกาสเล่นในบทบาท Tim Price[14] ในละครเวทีเรื่องAmerican Psycho ซึ่งเขาได้แสดงร่วมกับแมต สมิธ ในโรงละคร Almeida Theatre ณ กรุงลอนดอน ในปี 2013[15]

ในปี 2017 เบลีย์ได้มีโอกาสแสดงร่วมกับ เอียน แม็กเคลเลน, Sinéad Cusack และ Dervla Kirwan ในละครเวทีเรื่อง King Lear ซึ่งแสดง ณ โรงละคร Chichester Festival Theatre[16] ในปี 2018 เขาได้รับเลือกให้เล่นบท Jamie ในละครเวทีเรื่อง Company ซึ่งแสดงในโรงละคร West End theatre[17] จากบทดังกล่าวเขาได้รับรางวัล Laurence Olivier Awards ประจำปี 2019 ในสาขา Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical[3]

ในปี 2021 ได้มีประกาศออกมาว่าเบลีย์ กับ Taron Egerton จะเล่นละครเวทีเรื่อง Cock ซึ่งกำกับโดย Mike Bartlett ซึ่งจะแสดง ณ โรงละคร Ambassadors Theatre ณ กรุงลอนดอน ปี 2022[18][19]
