วงศ์ผกากรอง หรือ Verbenaceae (/ˌvɜːrbɪˈneɪsiaɪ, -iː/ VUR-bin-AY-see-e(y)e ) เป็นวงศ์ของพืชมีดอก มีทั้งไม้ยืนต้น ไม้พุ่มและไม้ล้มลุก มีดอกช่อ ดอกย่อยขนาดเล็ก มีกลิ่น[2]
การศึกษาไฟโลจีนีติกในปัจจุบัน[3] ได้ย้ายสกุลจำนวนมากที่เคยจัดให้อยู่ในวงศืผกากรอง ไปอยู่ในวงศ์ Lamiaceae ทำให้ในระบบใหม่ วงศ์นี้มี 35 สกุลและ 1,200 สปีชีส์[4][5] สกุลของไม้ป่าชายเลน Avicennia บางครั้งรวมอยู่ในวงศ์นี้ [6] หรือแยกเป็นวงศ์ใหม่ Avicenniaceae[7] มากกว่าที่จะจัดให้อยู่ในวงศ์ Acanthaceae[4]
