บางกอกฟรีเทรดโซน (BFTZ)[1]

โครงการบางกอกฟรีเทรดโซน ตั้งอยู่ถนนบางนาตราด กม.23 จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ บนพื้นที่ดิน 1,000 ซึ่งประกอบด้วยพื้นที่เขตประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมทั่วไป^[1] และ เขตปลอดอากร^[2]

บางกอกฟรีเทรดโซน เป็นพื้นที่สีม่วง^[3] และได้รับใบอนุญาตเป็นเขตประกอบการอุตสาหกรรม ทำให้สามารถประกอบกิจการโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมเบา และไม่ก่อให้เกิดมลภาวะ ทั้งยังได้รับการส่งเสริมการลงทุนเป็นเขตอุตสาหกรรมโลจิสติกส์

ที่สำคัญ โครงการบางกอกฟรีเทรดโซนคำนึงถึง การเป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยโครงการได้จัดพื้นที่ร้อยละ 30 ของพื้นที่โครงการทั้งหมด เป็นพื้นที่สีเขียว พื้นที่ส่วนกลางและสาธารณูปโภค

↑ “General Zone” is a non-free zone area located at the Free Zone neighborhood. It is suitable for manufacturing which uses mainly domestic raw material, and for supporting merchandise distributed domestic.
↑ “Free Zone” is a designated area for commerce and industrial operation and other business activities which is officially eligible for tariff and tax exemptions with respect to the purchase or importation of raw materials, components or finished goods. Such materials and goods can generally be stored, processed or assembled in the Free Zone for re-export, in which case taxes and duties generally would not apply, or for entry into the domestic market, in which case taxes and duties would be deferred until the time of entry.
↑ BFTZ is also announced in the government gazette as an “Industrial Zone”. It is currently endorsed as a “Purple Zone”. Factory can be established by the merit of the above mentioned proclamations. Also procedure of seeking permits and licenses are relief from regulation compliance.
