บองโกแคต
บองโกแคต (อังกฤษ: Bongo Cat) เป็นอินเทอร์เน็ตมีมที่มีต้นกำเนิดจากผู้ใช้ทวิตเตอร์[1]ที่สร้างและทวีตภาพ GIF ของแมวสีขาวตีโต๊ะด้วยอุ้งเท้าหน้าสองขา[2] ภายหลังผู้ใช้ทวิตเตอร์คนอื่นตอบกลับทวีตนี้[3]ด้วยภาพ GIF ดัดแปลง ซึ่งรวมถึงฉบับที่แมวตีบองโกในทำนองเพลง ซูเปอร์มาริโอเวิลด์[4] คำตอบกลับนี้กลายเป็นกระแสและทำให้ภาพ GIF นี้ถูกแก้ไขให้เข้ากับเพลงอื่น ๆ[5][6]
ประวัติ แก้
ภาพ GIF บองโกแคตฉบับดั้งเดิมสร้างขึ้นในวันที่ 7 พฤษภาคม ค.ศ. 2018 โดยผู้ใช้ทวิตเตอร์ @StrayRogue[7] และ @DitzyFlama นำภาพมาดัดแปลงด้วยการเพิ่มบองโกให้แมวมาตีในทำนอง "Athletic" จาก ซูเปอร์มาริโอเวิลด์[8] ภายหลังมีผู้ใช้ไปดัดแปลงเข้ากับเพลงอื่นและเครื่องดนตรีชนิดอื่นในวิดีโอแฟนเมด ซึ่งปรากฏในสื่อสังคมอย่างยูทูบและทวิตเตอร์[5][9] มีมนี้ครอบคลุมเพลงจากวิดีโอเกมหลายเพลง เช่น เสียงดนตรีจาก Persona 5 และซูเปอร์มาริโอ เช่นเดียวกันกับเพลงกระแสหลักอย่าง"แอฟริกา" ของโตโต และ"Sandstorm" ของDarude[10] หลังได้รับความนิยมเพิ่มขึ้น Stray Rogue จึงเริ่มสร้างและขายสินค้าบองโกแคต[2] มีผู้นำบองโกแคตมาทำเป็นเว็บไซต์แบบโต้ตอบ[3]

Polygon และ Uproxx กล่าวถึงบองโกแคตว่าเป็นมีมที่ดีที่สุดใน ค.ศ. 2018[11][12] The Daily Dot กล่าวถึงสิ่งนี้ว่าเป็นมีมที่จริงใจและมีประโยชน์มากที่สุดใน ค.ศ. 2018[13] Reid McCarter จาก The A.V. Club และ Megan Farokhmanesh จาก The Verge ต่างยกย่องมีมนี้[9][3] Nicole Clark จาก Vice กล่าวถึงมีมนี้เป็น "สิ่งที่ดีอย่างเดียวบนอินเทอร์เน็ต"[14]
