จิม พาร์สันส์
เจมส์ โจเซฟ "จิม" พาร์สันส์ (เกิด 24 มีนาคม ค.ศ. 1973) เป็นนักแสดงชาวอเมริกัน เป็นที่รู้จักอย่างดีจากบทเชลดอน คูเปอร์ ในละครซิทคอม เดอะบิกแบงธีออรี ทางช่องซีบีเอส เป็นที่กล่าวขานว่าการแสดงของเขาเป็นเหตุผลสำคัญที่ทำให้ละครประสบความสำเร็จ[2][3][4] เขาได้รับรางวัลมากมายจากการแสดง เช่น รางวัลสมาคมนักวิจารณ์โทรทัศน์ (Television Critics Association) สำหรับความสำเร็จสูงสุดในแนวคอเมดี[5] รางวัลสมาคมผู้กระจายเสียงแห่งชาติ (National Association of Broadcasters) สำหรับความสำเร็จในวินัยศิลปะเฉพาะด้าน[6] รางวัลเอ็มมี 3 รางวัล สาขานักแสดงนำโดดเด่นในซีรีส์แนวคอเมดี[7] และรางวัลลูกโลกทองคำสาขานักแสดงยอดเยี่ยมในรายการโทรทัศน์แนวมิวสิคัลหรือตลก

ในปี ค.ศ. 2011 พาร์สันส์แสดงละครบรอดเวย์ครั้งแรก รับบท ทอมมี โบตไรต์ ในละครเวทีเรื่องเดอะนอร์มัลฮาร์ต ซึ่งเขาได้เข้าชิงรางวัลดรามาเดสก์อะวอร์ด เขากลับมารับบทเดิมในละครเดิมฉบับภาพยนตร์ และได้เข้าชิงรางวัลเอ็มมีครั้งที่เจ็ด ในสาขานักแสดงสนับสนุนโดดเด่นในเรื่องสั้นหรือภาพยนตร์
ชีวิตช่วงแรก แก้
จิม พาร์สันส์เกิดที่โรงพยาบาลเซนต์โจเซฟในฮิวสตัน รัฐเท็กซัส และเติบโตในสปริง ชานเมืองตอนเหนือ เขาเป็นบุตรของมิลตัน โจเซฟ "มิกกี/แจ็ก" พาร์สันส์ จูเนียร์ (6 กุมภาพันธ์ ค.ศ. 1949-29 เมษายน ค.ศ. 2001) และครู จูดี แอน (สกุลเดิม แม็กไนต์) พี่สาวของเขา จูลี แอน พาร์สันส์ เป็นครูเช่นกัน[8][9][10] เขาเข้าเรียนโรงเรียนไคลน์โอ๊กไฮสกูลในสปริง พาร์สันส์ชื่นชอบบทบาทหนึ่งในละครเวทีเรื่องนอยซิสออฟ ในระหว่างเรียนปีที่สอง "ผมรู้สึกผูกพันกับบทบาทนี้อย่างเต็มเปี่ยมตอนที่ผมรับบทนั้น และเริ่มเข้าใจสิ่งที่แทนความซื่อสัตย์บนเวทีการแสดง"[8] หลังจากเล่นบทนกโคลาโคล่าในละครเวทีเรื่อง ดิแอลเลอแฟนต์ไชลด์ เมื่ออายุ 6 ปี พาร์สันส์มุ่งมั่นที่จะเป็นนักแสดง[8][11] พาร์สันส์วัยหนุ่มยังได้แรงบันดาลใจจากซิตคอมหลายเรื่อง เช่น ทรีส์คอมพานี แฟมิลีไทส์ และเดอะคอสบีโชว์[12]
