เอ็นเอ๊กซ์ที ยูเค วีเมนส์ แชมเปียนชิป ถูกประกาศก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อ 18 มิถุนายน ค.ศ. 2018 ในยูไนเต็ดคิงดอมแชมเปียนชิปทัวร์นาเมนต์ (2018) พร้อมกับตำแหน่งยูไนเต็ดคิงดอม แทกทีม แชมเปียนชิป หลังจากประกาศ 2 วัน ได้จัดทัวร์นาเม้นท์ 8 คน เพื่อหาแชมป์คนแรกในการบันทึกเทปรายการเอ็นเอ๊กซ์ที ยูเค ในวันที่ 25 สิงหาคม[2][3][3] และเป็น Rhea Ripley เอาชนะ Toni Storm ในรอบสุดท้ายไปได้และเป็นแชมป์คนแรก[4]
