ภาษาอาบุน
ภาษาอาบุน (Abun language) มีผู้พูดภาษานี้ 3,000 คน (พ.ศ. 2538) ในจังหวัดปาปัว เป็นภาษาโดดเดี่ยว เขียนด้วยอักษรละติน ผู้พูดภาษานี้นับถือศาสนาคริสต์หรือศาสนาพื้นเมือง ภาษาอาบุนเคยมีวรรณยุกต์ 3 เสียง แต่ปัจจุบันแยกได้เพียง 2 เสียง และพบในคำศัพท์ที่จำกัด ภาษาอาบุนได้สูญเสียการมีเสียงวรรณยุกต์เนื่องจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางภาษาศาสตร์[2]
