สิ่งที่ประชาชนไทยรู้จักดีที่สุดที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสมาคมสถาปนิกสยาม ได้แก่งานสถาปนิกประจำปี หรือ "[[งานอาษา]]" โดยจะจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกๆ ปี ในช่วงประมาณต้นเดือนพฤษภาคม ภายในงานจะมีกลุ่มสถาปนิกอาสาที่เรียกกันว่า "[[หมอบ้าน]]" ซึ่งจะให้คำปรึกษาปัญหาการก่อสร้างฟรี มีงานแสดงผลงานของนิสิตนักศึกษาสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์จากทุกสถาบัน และผลงานของสำนักงานสถาปนิกชั้นนำของประเทศ มีการสัมนาเกี่ยวกับวิชาชีพโดยบุคคลสำคัญทั้งในและนอกวงการสถาปัตยกรรม ทั้งจากภายในและต่างประเทศ และสิ่งที่ได้รับความสนใจที่สุดคือ งานแสดงวัสดุก่อสร้าง โดยบริษัทผลิตและจำหน่ายวัสดุก่อสร้างชั้นนำของประเทศมารวมตัวกัน
งานสถาปนิกประจำปีดังกล่าว จะเรียกแตกต่างกันออกไปในแต่ละปี โดยใช้ปีพุทธศักราชในชื่อภาษาไทย (เช่น ''งานสถาปนิก ๔๙'') และใช้คริสต์ศักราชในชื่อภาษาอังกฤษ (เช่น ''Architect'
The Association of Siamese Architects Under Royal Patronage - ASA
The Association of Siamese Architects Under Royal Patronage, or so called “ASA,” was founded in 1934 as a center for Thai architects and architectural-related colleagues. Throughout the years, ASA strongly supports the growing of Thai architectural standards, the promotion of Architect profession, and the development of Thai communities through these objectives:
1. Participating in the development of architectural values, sustainable environment, and national civilizations.
2. Supporting the unity of Thai architects, ASA members and its networking to maintain the cooperation in activities dedicating to architect profession and society.
3. Providing consultancy in architectural field and ASA benefits to ASA members and communities.
4. Enhancing and supporting architectural and architectural-related studies and researches for the continuing advancement of the profession.
5. Working with national and international institutions, organizations and government agencies in architectural activities and profession promotion.
6. Developing and monitoring architectural practices and ethics of architects.
7. Creating and developing rules and regulations of architectural practices and the certification of architectural standards.
The ASA members have participated and worked with their communities in creating the valuable of the profession as well as dedicating to the development of healthy and sustainable environment of the society. Major activities and events in the field of architecture were created to accomplish the objectives of ASA.
