I am a German guy interested in Thailand a lot. I don't speak any Thai yet, but I have started learning it recently. But it will take a long time till I can actually talk more than simple sentences, read or even write something in Thai. Until then most of my contributions here will just be interwiki links, fix formatting mistakes, or clean up obvious vandalism. As a quite experienced wikipedian I can help with technical problems, so feel free to ask me if you need help - but please in English (or German). If you want to talk with me best contact me on my english talk page [[:en:User Talk:Ahoerstemeier]], as that's where I check in most often.
On the english wikipedia I have contributed a lot of articles on Thailand, for example all the [[:en:Provinces of Thailand|
I have created changwat articles here as well, however only the tabular data which I can create with copy-and-paste from various tables. Hopefully those article will serve as a good basis for native Thai speakers to enlarge them into full articles. I can do the same for the อำเภอ, but there I'd only have the population/area data and the ตำบล list - just tell me if it's welcome or not.
