The nominees for the 82nd Academy Awards were announced live on Tuesday February 2, 2010, at 05:30 AM [[Pacific Time Zone|PST]] (13:30 [[Coordinated Universal Time|UTC]]) at the [[Samuel Goldwyn Theater]] in [[Beverly Hills, California]], by [[Tom Sherak]], president of the Academy, and actress [[Anne Hathaway (actress)|Anne Hathaway]].
