ซัยโตเมกาโลไวรัส

ซัยโตเมกาโลไวรัส (อังกฤษ: Cytomegalovirus, CMV) เป็นจีนัสหนึ่งของไวรัสในออร์เดอร์ Herpesvirales ซึ่งอยู่ในแฟมิลี Herpesviridae ซับแฟมิลี Betaherpesvirinae มีโฮสท์ธรรมชาติคือมนุษย์และลิง ปัจจุบันประกอบด้วยไวรัส 8 สปีชีส์ หนึ่งในนั้นคือฮิวแมนเฮอร์ปีส์ไวรัส 5 หรือฮิวแมนซัยโตเมกาโลไวรัส โรคที่เกิดจาก HHV-5 เช่น โมโนนิวคลีโอซิส ปอดอักเสบ เป็นต้น ส่วนใหญ่เรียกด้วยชื่อย่อว่า CMV
