    • Quote (English): "17 Mar 1973, Saigon, South Vietnam --- Saigon. Vietcong Lt. Gen. Tran Van gestures during Press Conference here 3/17. He called US charges that reinforcements and arms have been filtering into South Vietnam in violation of the cease fire agreement completely groundless. "Behind his hangs a huge Vietcong flag with the words "Resolved to Wine" and a portrait of the late Ho Chi Minh.".
    • Quote (Vietnamese): "17 tháng 3 năm 1973, Sài Gòn, Nam Việt Nam --- Sài Gòn. Thượng tướng Việt Cộng Trần Văn Trà đưa tay diễn tả trong buổi Họp báo tại đây ngày 17/3. Ông cho rằng cáo buộc của Hoa Kỳ rằng quân tiếp viện và vũ khí Bắc Việt đang tràn vào miền Nam Việt Nam vi phạm thỏa thuận ngừng bắn là hoàn toàn vô căn cứ."
