Флаг командующего округом войск национальной гвардии Российской Федерации представляет собой прямоугольное полотнище крапового цвета с гюйсом в крыже, расположенным в верхней части левой половины полотнища. В правой половине полотнища — две звезды белого цвета, расположенные в центрах четвертей полотнища, под гюйсом — одна звезда белого цвета, на одном уровне с нижней звездой. Звёзды располагаются на одинаковом расстоянии друг от друга. Отношение ширины флага к его длине — два к трём. Отношение площади крыжа к площади флага — один к четырём. Отношение диаметра звёзд к ширине флага — один к четырём.
