Among the major buildings and sites visible in this photo, from left to right are: some of the condo towers of the Loring Park neighborhood; the Minneapolis campus of the University of St. Thomas (particularly the School of Law); the headquarters office buildings of the Target Corporation; the headquarters office building of U.S. Bancorp; IDS Center; in the foreground of IDS Center are the studios of WCCO-TV, Orchestra Hall, and Westminster Presbyterian Church; back on the skyline, Wells Fargo Center; Capella Tower; the large, white inflatable roof of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome; behind the Metrodome are some of the buildings of the University of Minnesota's Minneapolis Campus; immediately in front of the Metrodome is Hennepin County Medical Center; visible in the foreground below the Metrodome is the back of the Architects and Engineers Building and a portion of the Minneapolis Convention Center; above the Convention Center are some of the new condominium towers of the Elliot Park neighborhood; above the to the top right horizon is the skyline of Downtown St. Paul.
