ภาษาค้าง

ภาษาค้าง (Kháng; จีน: 抗语) หรือภาษาขะอาง ภาษาฮาง ภาษาเบรน เป็นภาษาตระกูลออสโตรเอเชียติกในประเทศเวียดนาม[2] โดยมีความใกล้ชิดกับภาษาบูมังในมณฑลยูนนานตอนใต้ ประเทศจีน

การจัดอันดับ แก้

พอล ซิดเวลล์ (2014)[3] จัดให้ภาษาค้างอยู่ในกลุ่มภาษาปะหล่อง แม้ว่า Jerold Edmondson (2010) เสนอแนะว่าภาษานี้อยู่ในกลุ่มภาษาขมุก็ตาม

ภาษาค้างมีความใกล้ชิดกับภาษาบูมังมากที่สุด (Edmondson 2010).

ผู้พูดภาษาค้างได้รับการยอมรับเป็นกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ในประเทศเวียดนามอย่างเป็นทางการ[4] และมีจำนวน 10,272 คนใน ค.ศ. 1999

มีผู้พูดภาษาค้างในอำเภอของจังหวัดเซินลาและจังหวัดลายเจิว เวียดนามตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือ:[5]
