ชีวิตช่วงแรก แก้

รูล เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 29 ตุลาคม 2002 ที่ไอเซิลวอร์ธ กรุงลอนดอน ซึ่งเป็นบ้านเกิดของมารดาของเขา มารดาของเขามีชื่อว่า เคท แวน ไดจ์ค และบิดาของเขาเป็นชาวนิวซีแลนด์ที่เกิดที่สหราชอาณาจักร ราล์ฟ แวน ไดจ์ค ในปี 2006 ครอบครัวของเขาได้ย้ายมาอยู่ที่ซิดนีย์ ประเทศออสเตรเลีย[2]

เดือนกรกฎาคม 2017 รูลปล่อยซิงเกิล "Don't Tell Me" ซึ่งขึ้นสูงสุดที่อันดับ 86 ของ ARIA Chart ต่อมาในเดือนกันยายน เอลตัน จอห์น ได้เปิดเพลง "Don't Tell Me" บนสถานีวิทยุ 'BBC Radio 1' และกล่าวชมเชยรูล [5]

2018 - ปัจจุบัน: Ready และ Free Time อีพี แก้

ในวันที่ 24 มีนาคม 2018 รูลได้แสดงที่ Pop Spring Festival ที่โตเกียว ซึ่งเป็นงานมีทแอนด์กรีท ครั้งแรกของรูล[6] และในวันที่ 4 เมษายน รูลได้แสดงในพิธีเปิดกีฬาเครือจักรภพครั้งที่ 21 ในวันที่ 19 เมษายน ได้ปล่อยมิวสิกวิดีโอ "Don't Tell Me"[7]

ในวันที่ 15 มิถุนายน 2018 อีพีเปิดตัว Ready ได้วางจำหน่าย และซิงเกิล "Younger" ได้รับการรับรองระดับแพลทินัมจาก ARIA [8]

ในวันที่ 10 มีนาคม 2019 รูลได้ปล่อยซิงเกิล "Painkiller" ซึ่งเป็นซิงเกิลหลักจากอีพี Free Time หลังจากนั้นในวันที่ 9 สิงหาคม ได้ปล่อย "Face to Face" พร้อมกับมิวสิกวิดีโอ ซึ่งถ่ายทำระหว่างทัวร์คอนเสิร์ตที่ประเทศฝรั่งเศส[9] และในวันที่ 13 กันยายน ได้ปล่อยอีพีที่สอง Free Time[10]

ในวันที่ 31 มกราคม 2020 รูลได้ร่วมงานกับ Cosmo's Midnight ในชื่อเพลง "Down for You" และมิวสิกวิดีโอได้ถูกปล่อยมาเมื่อวันที่ 18 มีนาคม[11]
