ทรูแมน คาโพตี

ทรูแมน การ์เซีย คาโพตี (อังกฤษ: Truman Garcia Capote; 30 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2467 — 25 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2527) เป็นนักเขียนชาวอเมริกันซึ่งมีชื่อเสียงจากการเขียนนวนิยายเชิงสารคดี (nonfiction novel) เรื่อง In Cold Blood ซึ่งเป็นการเล่าถึงเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นจริงในรูปแบบนวนิยาย และนวนิยายเรื่อง Breakfast at Tiffany's ซึ่งทั้งสองเรื่องถือว่าเป็นวรรณกรรมคลาสสิกของอเมริกันและได้ถูกนำไปสร้างเป็นภาพยนตร์
