เปลือกรูปทรงกระบอกเรียว มีสีขาวเวียนขวาและเรียบ สูงประมาณ 6.2 มิลลิเมตร กว้าง 2 มิลลิเมตร เปลือกมี 7-8 ชั้น ปลายยอดมนทู่ มีเปลือกคอยาวและฟันที่แหลมคมซึ่งใช้ใการล่าเหยื่อ<ref name="Sutcharit 2010">Sutcharit C., Naggs F., Wade C. == แหล่งอาศัย ==
มักอาศัยตามพื้นที่ชื้น มีเศษซากใบไม้ทับถมเน่าเปื่อยโดยเฉพาะในแนวเขา[[หินปูน]] มักหลบซ่อนอยู่ใต้ซากใบไม้ในตอนกลางวันและออกหากินหลังฝนตก ขณะที่มีอากาศชื้นและตอนกลางคืน โดยจะล่าหอยชนิดอื่นที่มีขนาดเล็กและไข่แมลงต่างๆ เป็นอาหาร ซึ่งมีความสำคัญต่อ[[ระบบนิเวศ]]ในพื้นที่ ในด้านการควบคุมประชากรแมลงไม่ให้มีมากจนเกินไป<ref name="Sutcharit 2010">Sutcharit C., Naggs F., Wade C. == การแพร่กระจาย ==
หอยในสกุลนี้ส่วนใหญ่พบในประเทศ[[ฟิลิปปินส์]]ประมาณ 40 ชนิด ในประเทศอื่นๆ แถบ[[อินโดจีน]]พบ 5 ชนิด ส่วนในประเทศไทยพบเฉพาะในภาคตะวันออก ตามแนวเขาหินปูน ในเขตอำเภอ[[บ่อทอง]] จังหวัด[[ชลบุรี]] , อำเภอ[[เขาชะเมา]] จังหวัด[[ระยอง]] และอำเภอ[[เขาฉกรรจ์]] จังหวัด[[สระแก้ว]]<ref name="Sutcharit 2010">Sutcharit C., Naggs F., Wade C.
