ชนชั้นแรงงาน

ชนชั้นแรงงาน (อังกฤษ: working class หรือ labouring class) ประกอบด้วยผู้มีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมแรงงานซึ่งได้ค่าจ้างหรือเงินเดือน โดยเฉพาะกรรมาชีพและใช้แรงงานทางอุตสาหกรรม อาชีพชนชั้นแรงงาน (ดูเพิ่มเติมที่ "สีคอปกเพื่อแทนชนิดแรงงาน") ประกอบด้วยอาชีพคอปกน้ำเงิน, คอปกขาวบางอาชีพ และ คอปกชมพูส่วนใหญ่ สมาชิกของชนชั้นแรงงานต้องพึ่งพาเงินรายรับจากการใช้แรงงานแลกค่าจ้างมากเป็นพิเศษ ดังนั้น ในนิยามที่ครอบคลุมกว่า ชนชั้นแรงงานอาจรวมถึงผู้มีอาชีพเกือบทั้งหมดในธุรกิจอุตสาหรรม ซึ่งรวมถึงผู้ที่มีอาชีพในเขตเมืองของธุรกิจที่ไม่เป็นอุตสาหกรรม
