การประท้วงร่างแก้ไขกฎหมายสัญชาติ (อังกฤษ: Citizenship Amendment Act (Bill) protests ย่อว่า CAA Protest หรือ CAB Protest) เกิดขึ้นหลังรัฐบาลอินเดียตรากฎหมาย รัฐบัญญัติสัญชาติฉบับแปรญัติ (Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 หรือเรียกสั้น ๆ ว่า Citizenship Amendment Act; CAA) เมื่อวันที่ 12 ธันวาคม ค.ศ. 2019 การตรากฎหมายนี้ได้ก่อให้เกิดการประท้วงอย่างรุนแรงขึ้นทั่วประเทศอินเดียต่อต้านการตรากฎหมายนี้และโครงการเกี่ยวกันที่ชื่อว่าทะเบียนพลเมืองแห่งชาติ (National Register of Citizens; NRC)[37] การประท้วงระลอกแรกเริ่มต้นในรัฐอัสสัม ก่อที่จะกระจายไปตามรัฐอื่น ๆ อย่างรวดเร็ว เช่น[38] เดลี[39] เมฆาลัย[40] อนุราจัลประเทศ และตรีปุระ ในวันที่ 4 ธันวาคม ค.ศ. 2019[24] อย่างไรก็ตาม เหตุผลและความกังวลของผู้ที่ประท้วงนั้นมีหลากหลาย[4][41]

    การแก้กฎหมายนี้จึงถูกวิจารณ์อย่างหนักว่าเป็นการเลือกปฏิบัติจากศาสนา โดยเฉพาะผ่านการยกเว้นชาวมุสลิมออกจากกฎหมายนี้[46] ผู้ประท้วงทั่วประเทศมีเป้าหมายเพื่อให้รัฐบาลยกเลิกกฎหมายใหม่นี้โดยสิ้นเชิง[47][48][49] กฎหมายใหม่นี้ทำให้เกิดข้อกังวลในหมู่ชาวมุสลิมอินเดียและชาวอินเดียที่ยากจนว่าอาจถูกตราว่าเป็นบุคคลไร้สัญชาติซึ่งอาจนำไปสู่การขับไล่ออกนอกอาณาเขตอินเดีย[50][51][52][53] นอกจากนี้ผู้ประท้วงยังได้ประท้วงรูปแบบเผด็จการและการใช้กำลังของตำรวจในการสลายการชุมนุมในมหาวิทยาลัยอย่างรุนแรง[4][54]
