Harpagophoridae เป็นวงศ์ของกิ้งกือหลังค่อม (round-backed millipede) ในอันดับ Spirostreptida วงศ์นี้ประกอบไปด้วย 269 สปีชีส์ใน 55 สกุล[1] มีการกระจายตัวในทวีปแอฟริกา เอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ และอินเดียตะวันออก นอกจากนี้ยังพบอยู่ตามหมู่เกาะในมหาสมุทรอินเดีย มีสองวงศ์ย่อยที่เป็นที่รู้จัก[2]
