เวนจอห์นนีคัมส์แมร์ชิงโฮม (อังกฤษ: When Johnny Comes Marching Home) บางครั้งมีชื่อว่า "เวนจอห์นนีคัมส์แมร์ชิงโฮมอะเกน" (When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again) เป็นเพลงที่เป็นที่นิยมมากเพลงหนึ่งที่แต่งขึ้นมาในช่วงสงครามกลางเมืองอเมริกา มีเนื้อหาแสดงถึงความปรารถนาของผู้คนในการกลับมาของเพื่อนและญาติที่สู้รบในสงคราม

แพทริก กิลมอร์ วาทยากรชาวอเมริกันเชื้อสายไอริช เขียนเนื้อร้อง "เวนจอห์นนีคัมส์แมร์ชิงโฮม" ในช่วงสงครามกลางเมืองอเมริกัน มีการฝากการตีพิมพ์แผ่นโน้ตเพลงแรกในหอสมุดแห่งชาติในวันที่ 26 กันยายน ค.ศ. 1863 โดยที่เนื้อร้องและทำนองให้เครดิตกับ "ลุยส์ แลมเบิร์ต" ส่วนลิขสิทธิ์ยังคงอยู่กับ Henry Tolman & Co., ผู้พิมพ์จำหน่ายในบอสตัน[1] ทำไมกิลมอร์จึงตีพิมพ์ภายใต้นามแฝงนั้นยังไม่เป็นที่กระจ่าง แต่นักประพันธ์เพลงที่มีชื่อเสียงหลายคนในยุคนั้นมักใช้นามแฝงเพื่อเพิ่มความลึกลับเชิงโรแมนติกให้กับผลงานเพลงของพวกตน[2] กล่าวกันว่ากิลมอร์เขียนเพลงให้แอนนี พี่/น้องสาวของเขา เนื่องจากเธอขอให้ John O'Rourke คู่หมั้นชายที่เป็นกัปตันทหารปืนใหญ่ฝ่ายสหภาพ กลับมาจากสงครามกลางเมืองอย่างปลอดภัย[3][4][5] กระนั้นก็ยังไม่เป็นที่กระจ่างว่าทั้งสองหมั้นไว้แล้วตั้งแต่ ค.ศ. 1863 โดยทั้งสองยังไม่แต่งงานจนกระทั่ง ค.ศ. 1875[6]
