ช็องตาล บียา (ฝรั่งเศส: Chantal Biya; มีนามเดิมว่า: ช็องตาล ปูลเชรี วีกูรู) เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 4 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2512 ณ แคเมอรูน เธอเป็นลูกครึ่งแคเมอรูน-ฝรั่งเศส โดยบิดาเป็นชาวฝรั่งเศสนามว่า ฌอร์ฌ วีกูรู ส่วนมารดานั้นเป็นนางงามจากเมืองดูเม นามว่า รอแซ็ต อึนดองโก เมงโกโล ต่อมาใน พ.ศ. 2550 มารดาของเธอได้รับเลือกให้เป็นนายกเทศมนตรีเมืองบ็องกู เธอใช้ชีวิตวัยรุ่นอยู่ในกรุงยาอุนเด เมืองหลวงของประเทศ

การสมรส

ช็องตาลสมรสกับปอล บียา เมื่อวันที่ 23 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2537 ขณะนั้นเธอมีอายุ 23 ปี ในขณะที่ปอล บียา มีอายุ 61 ปี และเธอมีอายุ 25 ปี หลังจากการถึงแก่กรรมของฌาน-อีแรน บียา ภริยาคนแรกของปอล เธอจึงกลายเป็นสุภาพสตรีหมายเลขที่ 1 แห่งแคเมอรูน เธอเป็นที่รู้จักในสังคมโลกจากการที่เธอไว้ทรงผมแนวตั้งสูงจนเป็นเอกลักษณ์ ซึ่งเธอเรียกทรงผมนั้นว่า "บานาน" อีกทั้งรูปแบบการแต่งตัวที่โดดเด่น โดยเธอมักจะแต่งชุดสีสันฉูดฉาด โดยเธอมีนักออกแบบชุดจากยี่ห้อชาเนลและดิออร์ ถึงกระนั้น เธอเป็นคนที่ชอบทำการกุศลมาก เธอก่อตั้งสมาคมพิทักษ์เด็กและสตรีแห่งแคเมอรูน โดยมีที่ปรึกษากว่า 500 คน คอยให้ความช่วยเหลือ
